Low back pain is one of the main reasons individuals seek medical care. Whether your a military veteran, firefighter, business professional, gardner, athlete, or police officer you have probably experienced some form of back pain in your lifetime. There are many factors that lead to low back pain such as poor posture, weak back muscles, and inappropriate technique when lifting heavy objects. Our lifestyles of work, driving, and sitting require a powerful tool to combat the breakdown of degeneration, inflammation, and pain that is happening in our spines. This is where Foundation Training comes in.
The Benefits Experienced with Foundation Training:
-Decreased Back Pain
-Increased Strength and Mobility
-Improved Athletic Performance
*Foundation Training is an exercise program consisting of 18 different exercises.
Ease Back Pain: Foundation Training brings balance between the front and back of the body, helping the spine come into alignment and slowing or stopping degeneration, inflammation, and pain.
Relieve Joint Pressure and Stress: Foundation Training is a series of exercises designed to take the pressure and stress out of the joints and designed to strengthen the muscles, tendons, and ligaments surrounding the joints. Especially the joints of the knees, hips, and entire spine.
Strengthen Posture: Foundation Training teaches the body proper form and function by keeping the spine in extension with correct flexion and rotation at the hip joint, and ingraining patterns that strengthen every aspect of movement and posture.
***To learn all 18 exercises it usually takes 2 – 3 sessions per week for 2 – 3 months. Fewer exercises can be learned in a shorter period of time, depending on how many exercises an individual wants to learn.***
