Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Joffe is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut, who graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine with honors in 2020. She was inspired to pursue her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine while working as a mental health specialist for Riverview Medical Center in New Jersey. During her 7-year career, she was recognized for her unique emphasis on investigating the biochemical underpinnings of emotional imbalances, natural solutions, and passion for patient empowerment. She holds certifications in Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) from UMDNJ and has completed the Food as Medicine Professional Training Program by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, on scholarship.

Prior to her career in behavioral health, Dr. Joffe graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University. During her undergraduate coursework, she was a member of Golden Key and Psi Chi National Honors Societies. She spent not one, but two semesters abroad, in Malaga, Spain and San Jose, Costa Rica, leading to a concentration in International Studies and Minor in the Spanish Language. Dr. Joffe spent her summers tutoring high school and college students and volunteering at the YMCA as a soccer coach for children in underserved communities.

Her combined professional experience and medical training has allowed Dr. Joffe to hone her therapeutic technique and has prepared her to address the often overlooked contributors to emotional and cognitive imbalances.

With proficiencies in pattern recognition, complex problem-solving, and attention to detail, Dr. Joffe is driven to zero in on the true cause of each individual’s symptom expression.  As an N.D., she is trained to treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, but she is especially proficient in psychoneuroimmunology. Her approach is transparent and collaborative. She believes that you are the authority of your health and is excited to walk with you on your healing journey, wherever you may be in that process.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Joffe can be found learning to golf, experimenting with healthy, new recipes, reading non-fiction, paddle-boarding, or hiking with her Labrador Retriever and German Shepard.
