Safe and Gentle Natural Healthcare for Children of All Ages

Wherever an individual is on their journey through childhood and adolescence, we know that a holistic approach to health is key to their development as healthy adults. From the day you welcome your newborn, our approach combines the most appropriate conventional treatment with integrative healthcare designed for your unique child. Children tend to respond very well to the safe and gentle approach of natural medicine.
There are times when Western medical intervention is the right choice, and times when dietary and nutritional changes, lifestyle management, and homeopathic or botanical medicines are more appropriate. With a pediatric nurse practitioner and naturopathic physicians on site, we’re your partners in choosing the treatment best suited to help your child truly thrive. We can also make referrals to specialists, traditional or alternative, when appropriate.

An Individualized Approach

We want to create a healthier world for children by teaching families how to be proactive about health. At Shalva Clinic, we know that children are not little adults. Their ability to explain what hurts and their understanding of what an office visit entails makes their office visit unique to each child. We focus on your child’s individualized healthcare needs while building trust when discussing children’s health conditions. We never judge your healthcare decisions, and want to provide a safe space to support you in protecting your child’s health.

Childhood Immunizations

At Shalva Clinic, we support an individualized approach to childhood immunizations. We understand that you may have questions and concerns about vaccinations. Our goal is to help you understand the risks and the benefits, so we can work together in the best interest of your child. All of the vaccines we carry at Shalva Clinic are the safest formulations currently available on the market, in our best judgment. We provide pre- and post-vaccination protocols to help support a desired immune response and reduce side effects.  We also offer delayed vaccination schedules.

Adolescent Care

Between the ages of 10 and 18, your child is experiencing a period of rapid physical changes and emotional development. Our goal is to help establish healthy habits that will last for your child’s lifetime, as well as offer the nurturing and support that the family often needs now.
